Focus areas included:
1. Early Vertical Forearm (EVF): Promotes better catch mechanics and propulsion.
2. Tracking & Alignment: Rope pull drill used to encourage symmetry and maintain a straight line through the stroke.
3. Catch Drills: Glide 1000 and ¾ catch-up to smooth transitions and maintain flow.
4. Body Rotation: Emphasis on long-axis rotation from the hips, aiming for 45° each side.
5. Finish Position: Touch thigh to reinforce full extension; push phase ends with palm at 90° for max propulsion.
6. Entry & Breathing: Wide hand entry, consistent breathing every 2 strokes, and relaxed exhalation underwater.
