  • Interval training based on your specific personal pacing zones from a T pace regular fitness test - 200m / 400m or 1km TT and 10 x 100

Details:  

 

These sessions are for all levels of swimmers, triathletes and masters:

  • Non-swimmers wanting to learn front crawl

  • Beginners who can swim 25 metres

  • Triathletes - sprint to Ironman distance and beyond

  • To those wanting to improve their open water skills and techniques from 750m to 14km swims

 

What to expect:​

 

Each session lasts for one hour and will include a 5 minute warm up and a coach analysis of your front crawl stroke technique.

There are a number of factors we will work on to help you reduce your 100 metre average pace.

 

For example, this can include:

 

  • Optimal T pacing sets specific to your swim zones

  • Regular fitness testing to show improvements

  • Building lung capacity and aerobic base fitness

  • Correcting stroke inefficiencies

  • Improving rotation and power

  • Enhancing your catch

  • Developing a higher early vertical forearm position

  • Better streamlining ​

 

You’ll then receive your personal swim drills after each swim lesson by email for you to practice in between swim lessons.

There's also the option of combining your lessons with swim core strength or personal training.
