Open Water Group Technique Front Crawl Sessions on Saturday mornings, Hayling Island Beach, to the left of the Pub

All sessions are 1 hour long, and are structured and periodised into blocks of 10 weeks according to our annual swim training plan.

Beginner - can swim 100m in open water in one go

Advanced Beginner - can swim 200m in one go 2:30 - 2:45 per 100m pace average

Improver - can swim 400m in one go - 2:15 - 2:30 per 100m average

Intermediate 1 - can swim 1000m pacing 2:00 - 2:15 per 100m average

Intermediate 2 - can swim 1000m pacing 1:45 - 2:00 per 100m average

Intermediate 3 - can swim 1000m pacing 1:30 - 1:45 per 100m average

Advanced 1 - can swim 1000m pacing 1:20 - 1:30 per 100m average

Advanced 2 - can swim 1000m pacing 1:10 - 1:20 per 100m average

Elite 1 - pacing 1:00 - 1:10 per 100m average 2km

Elite 2 - pacing 0:55 - 1:00 per 100m average 3km
