The following terms and conditions apply to all participants (“you”) attending adult online fitness coaching and swim specific core strength sessions lessons organised by Speedy Swimming (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following and please keep a copy for your records.

  • By booking onto our squad training sessions you are accepting these terms and conditions and they will form a binding contract between you and us.

  • You will ensure that you follow the swimming pool rules (Aldershot pool or Guildford Lido - depending on location of the squad) set out at the start of each swim session, and any rules that are specific to Aldershot pool or Guildford Lido.

  • We reserve the right to vary these booking terms and conditions at any time upon reasonable notice to you.

2. Fitness based Coaching Lessons

  • All lessons will start promptly at the agreed start time. If you arrive late to the online in Zoom, warm up in the normal way you would or as advised by the fitness coach.

  • As a participant of a speedy swimming class:

  • By participating you are doing so at their own risk;

  • Ensure you have a suitable, non-slip floor space is required and any potential obstructions in the vicinity are removed before they participate;

  • Avoid activities if they have, or suspect they may have any current health concerns, injuries, aches and pains;

  • We will ensure that sessions are conducted for the benefit of existing members/participants/contacts only who have demonstrated sufficient suitability to participate;

3. Minimum requirements

  • In order to attend our courses you must be able to have a basis of understanding of the front crawl stroke, and ideally do open water swimming events or compete in triathlons. If you can swim 100 metres of front crawl swimming continuously and without rest this would be a plus, but at this point is not mandatory. If you have a history of lower back pain, or are currently injured, and fail to mention this upon registering, we may ask you to step back for a while and do a more remedial core stability program, facilitated with stretching and foam rolling as the basis of your exercises sessions for a few weeks.

  • If in our coaches professional opinion you are unable to comply with these minimum requirements, you will be asked to leave the group lesson and will not be able to take part in further group lessons until you have demonstrated to us that you meet such minimum requirements. You will not receive a refund of your lesson fee. This is just so that we can provide the group with an equal level of fitness coaching throughout the session, and isn't to put you off swimming with our Speedy Swim Fitness and core strength sessions.
